Quick question about gas meters....

I would think the choice would be yours seeing as how you will be paying a quite large ammount, It would prob be dearer to have meter inside, and less covenient taking up a bit of space also. Most would prefer a box outside, cant see how there could be any legal obligation involved. Having it in a garage is another option if you wanted it in a safer spot than inside the house
they are def safer outside, i found one this year in an outside box which had blown the nipple off ( used to test pressure ) and was leaking at a real high rate. Occupier out all day. luckily venting outside0 -
it will be outside - sure there are now rules and regs about where the service leads to - best off speaking to the network in your area for up to date current regulationsI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0
