Hello, anyone have any good ways of getting rid of ants? I have a massive amount of them in my garden, I have tried boiling water and ant powder but to no avail really!
Any help appreciated, thank you

Get a pet woodpecker? They love ants!
But otherwise, if they aren't coming into the house I'd leave them - they really don't do any harm, and they can prey on things like grubs that can cause real damage.0 -
I was told mix ant powder with icing sugar helps as they take to feed the queen as sweet hth0

Lemon juice is great for getting rid of ants, no harm to any wildlife if they eat it either but the ants really hate it and will run away quick smart!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

We have just had an infestation in our conservatory and they were coming out of the cavities. We tried to kill as many as we could with a cloth but they just seemed to keep coming. We got some little plastic boxes of ant killer that is supposed to entice the ants to take the food back to the queen and kill them. Got these from Tesco and it seemed to work. We also put ant powder along the edges of the skirting boards and within a couple of day, they appear to have gone (touch wood).0
