Cancellations and changes to Thomson holiday.

I wonder if anyone here could clarify some information for me.
I am awaiting a response from Thomson, but i thought id ask here while i was waiting.
I had booked a holiday for September 2013 to Marmaris in Turkey for 4 adults, and 4 children.
I paid the deposit of £100 and some extra which totalled £1400 (total price is £3077.50)
Two of the adults and one of the children can no longer go. (financial reasons not health)
So i understand that the deposits will be lost. Thats fine.
I would also like to change the holiday to a different hotel, and a different date.
I know about the £50 per person charges. But is it £50 per person per change.
Its all a bit of a pain, but these things happen.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

It usually is per change up to if the changes would cost more than loss of deposit, but it depends who you get on the day and how kind they're feeling sometimes.0
