Terminating finance agreement
Hi I'm looking for some advice,
I have a finance agreement which I'm looking at terminating half way through in a couple of months and handing the car back.
The issue I have is my wife had a bump in the car 18months ago which was repaired through the insurance company. Is this likely to be an issue when handing the back?
Also does the car service book need to be up to date as I have done the last couple of services myself so obviously no stamp in the book over the last 20k
Thanks,
Pete.

As long as its returned in good condition then shouldnt be problem0

The OP hasn't followed the service schedule so I am pretty sure they will make an adjustment for that as the car will be worth less without a FSH.
As for the ding as long as it has been repaired properly their shouldn't be a problem with that.0 -

A Hire Purchase agreement cannot put any stipulations onto the returning of a vehicle at the half way stage. The Hirer has the legal right to return the vehicle at that point, no matter whether it has or has not had a service or whether it has covered two thousand or two million miles.
The HP company will sell the car and if the car brings less than was outstanding on the loan that is tough luck on the HP company.
It would, however, be a different matter if the HP agreement made it a stipulation of the contract that the vehicle must be serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
