Hi everyone
Quite new on here so please bear with me.Im not sure if its in the right place!:o
I have been in my current job for just over a year but over last few months i have had an increased workload, coming in earlier, working later etc i wont bore you with the details...
Anyway i have been signed off work today for 2 weeks with work related stress & anxiety but the dr thinks i will need more time off after seeing me today.
My boss wasnt happy about this but i have sent her my sick note signed by the dr recorded delivery. She told me i wont get paid for being off sick and im not sure if i am entitled to claim any benefits ( i have never claimed benefits and worked since i was 16)
Who could i go and see or talk to to get advice .
any help would be great thank you :T

I'm no expert but believe your employer should pay you Statutory Sick Pay after three consecutive days of sickness. See attached link from governments advise website.
Sorry your employer isn't being very helpful, have you tried to discuss the reasons why you are off sick with them to see if you can come to some agreement over your working hours etc?
