Playing Dealers off against each other
It's car service time again and because I do some serious miles, I feel a lot more comfortable having the dealer service my car (that and the warranty requirement).
My 3 year old diesel C-MAX will cost GBP 340.00 to service at the garage local to my house in Berkshire. Ouch.
A quick call to the dealer near my office in Hertfordshire has got me a price of GBP 202.00 Much better

The warranty should be upheld regardless of who does the service, as long as the servicing garage is VAT registered.0
