mondeo rear door seal
Hi all
slowly knocking the jobs of my 2003 mondeo ghia X and the next one is the leak on the rear passenger door. According to the garage its the seal, part price is £90 and labout is £30
now i am thinking at £30 its not a big job but i cant seem to find any one selling the seal, any of you good people have any ideas? I reckon at such a small cost its not a door card out so if i could source the part myself me and my dad could get it
many thanks

The rubber door seal?
Quite possibly the plastic sheet on the inside of the doors. Water drips down and enters the car through the speakers.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
i thought the plastic sheet but at £30 labour they are not removing the door cards0

Just buy a sheet of heavy duty plastic from a garden centre or use a rubble sack. Does the same job and much cheaper. Quite easy DIY job really. Plus its quite a common fault on the MK3's.0

i will go on the ford wiki about taking the door card off, they reckon its simple and takes about 10 to 15 minutes to take off0
