Hello everyone
I am heading to Marmaris in Turkey for the first time in two weeks and was wondering if anyone has any tips for e.g. bartering and spending? Also are there any places to visit that you would recommend?
Thanks

Walk along the coastal path to Icmeler. Plenty of places to stop. Glorious views.
Icmeler is a small, and laid back resort. Well worth a loiter.
Take the ferry back to Marmaris from Icmeler (10TL).
Take the dolmus to Turunc. It's the white dolmus, and goes along the hotel strip.
Visit Icmeler market (Wednesday I think). Frequent orange dolmus along the hotel strip.
Before you barter try and work out what the item is worth to you, and don't pay anymore than that. Don't enter into bartering unless you intend to carry it through.
Try a bottle of Efes Limon, very refreshing.0 -
we took the ferry to rhodes from marmaris, enjoyable day out.
if talk of the town is still there(i think some of the buildings at longbeach were knocked down) we had a good night out there
water taxis as said run between marmaris and icmeler.0
