So happy as had lots of tomatoes over the weekend mainly from the greenhouse. I have black cherry, gardeners delight, tigerella and black russian and sungold too.
And to my surprise the outdoor ones started to pick up too, they all had various diseases but with the sun they actually fruiting in the end!!
What varieties you growing?

Maskotka. I've eaten loads from my outdoor plants. I gave a plant to a neighbour and he put it in his green house. His grew twice as high as mine (his being 1m), and produced masses of tomatoes, though his are still green, oddly enough.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

Not sure what's happened with mine. DH had some the other day and said that they were completely dry inside, no juice at all. Not grown them before so no previous experience.0

Gardeners Delight, from seed, in a greenhouse. We've been picking and eating them for weeks but the ripening is slow for this time of year.
One interesting reflection is that I suspect different seed companies are now selling slightly different strains of 'Gardeners Delight' under the same name. Bear in mind that GD isn't at F1 hybrid, so it's quite possible for there to be 'drift.'
This year's seed was from Suttons and I'm pretty sure the fruits are smaller and sweeter than last year's, which ISTR, were from T&M. I'm pretty sure it's not a cultural difference, too.
Has anyone else noticed this?0
