Hi
Our buildings and contents insurance is due for renewal at the end of the month but due to being victim of a theft last week, we are having to make a claim. We don't know the exact value of the claim yet. How will this affect the renewal process?

The renewal price will no longer apply.
Do some shopping round for the best deal now in case your renewal is no longer competitive as a result of this claim.0 -
Thanks. The renewal price has come in at about £200 more than quotes I've done this morning on Confused.com where I've included the claim! Our current insurer must want rid of us - funny as we are very reliable and I have my current account, mortgage, and a credit card with them. Thanks!0
