Hello all,
Was just wondering if anyone knew what the notice period would be with Halifax to withdraw large amount over counter 15-20k?, dont want to transfer it really as have been having problems with my faster payments recently and dont want this being held up
I know the daily limit is £2500
If I was to give them notice to go in on Thursday would that be enough time

I think anyone is crazy withdrawing that amount of cash. There isno reason why faster payments wouldn't work if the correct destination account details were given. 48 hours is the usual notice period...0

Or pay the £25 ish fee to have it sent by CHAPS. Much safer. Large amount of cash = asking for trouble.Rule 7: If you're not changing it, you're choosing it.
