We were out in the front garden talking to our next door neighbour and a guy came along and asked if we had any unwanted gold - I pointed out the "No cold callers" notice on the door and told him that "This means you". He then carried on with his pitch and I told him to go away and turned my back on him.
He told my husband that he felt sorry for him for having such an awful wife - oops! The air went blue. I'm still laughing about it.0
