New van wanted - best way to lease, finance, hire etc.

I thought I'd just buy it outright but I want to preserve capital and pay monthly. I've never leased anything other than property so quite new to the pitfalls.

Sort of Transit (smaller version) type with reasonable height for hanging rails to transport garments. Possible auto option would be good. Crew cab type would give extra flexibility.

Any recommendations for 1) make and model and 2) leasing company.

This will be through a VAT registered company.

Have you considered purchasing an older vehicle? Say 10 years old and paying next to nothing for it? Preserving capital is very difficult with motor vehicles and finance charges are extortionate. If you buy an older van, you could spend a bit on having it painted and made to look OK, and save a fortune in the process even if you do have to chuck it away again after say 5 years.
