:money:I have just retired & seen an independent adviser & both Halifax & Santander advisers, all suggesting I invest my lump sum for at least 5yrs. I am a low risk person & frightened of my money going down (they all take a %). Interest rates are low, am i safer with a fixed rate bond?

But maximising potential? Probably not.0 -
You can get capital guarenteed products and I Have seen great returns on low risk investments where I work. Got to do what you're happy with though...0
