I never received a PCN

I parked in a Coach Bay at a Motorway Service Station, when I returned to my Motorhome there was a leaflet under the wiper which said I had wrongly parked and they had my registration this was a warning that if I did it again I would receive a PCN ( parking notice). I knew I wouldnt go there again so threw it away. A month later a get a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd saying I have not paid the fine it is now £130.
I have written telling them I did not receive a PCN, just a warning notice.
I could not pay what I did not receive, how could a pay a fine that was not issued, did not know:0
The amount
Who to pay it to
How to pay it.
I never received any letters from CP Plus Ltd asking for an amount, this was the first letter I received so how could I have a Debt ??????????
I wont be paying it. I pay for legal services on my household insurance so will contact them. I threatened DRP Ltd with this but they still replied that my Fine Stood. I have asked for copies of the PCn and letters sent from CP Plus Ltd before they contacted DRP but not received them. Not worried about further action as I would welcome a day in court against these rob dogs . Just very time consuming and annoying

Dont let them stress you, they have no legal grounds to pursue you for the alleged debt.

You at least seem to have read the stickys and understand the scam and the way it works, however you should refrain from any more contact with them unless they instigate court proceedings. Your house legal cover to be honest dont bother with it, all you are doing is playing into their hands because its stressing you out.

Sit back take a chill pill and have a glass or three, relax wind down and get on with your life again.

Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

We regularly hear of cases, where the original PCN got lost in the post. So regularly, that I can't believe that this is coincidental. Why settle for whatever the initial amount was, when you can maybe get more and save some postage?

CP+ and their debt collector alter ego DR+ are resurrecting a lot of old cases at present. They're either desperate for money and/or space in the "unpaid" filing cabinet drawer. Even if they did notice that the original was just a warning, they wouldn't have cared less.

And it's neither a debt nor a fine.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

    Glad you are ignoring it!

The only thing that worries me slightly is that, if you had got one of CP Plus' fake PCNs on your windscreen, I do hope you wouldn't have paid or appealed it?

Once a scam always a scam, whether you get a fake PCN or not.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
