This week they are called cash my-car.com.
Beware if you are contacted regarding selling your car, these scammers just try to get you to pay a £50 appointment fee via ukash or western union. They aren't interested in buying cars just the £50 !!!!!!
They normally send a text to everyone with a car for sale on the auto trader and offer them a price thats too good to be true.
The old saying goes when somethings to good to be true it usually is !!!!!
They change the site every other week.

I think Ukash is solely used for scams. I've not heard of any legitimate service that uses Ukash.0

Had a text from this company just today, I like to think I'm quite savvy so I deleted the message straight after receiving it. I also got an email from another scammer, in the bin also. That's the problem with autotrader I suppose.0

I just sold a car through the Trader no problem, but there is just one simple thing to remember - a fool and his money are easily parted.
Why would you pay anyone to put you in touch with a buyer, when you have just paid to put your advert in a magazine/on the web?
If anyone phones you up, and asks you to pay £50, 60, 70 whatever, because they have someone interested in your car, then just tell them you will pay them after their customer has paid you. If they persist, then tell them to **** off!
Sometimes being rude is the only way to deal with these scammers.0
