Zanussi zwg6165 issues

My mum brought a zanussi in February and it recently started making holes in the clothing so she went back to the shop and they gave her the number for Electrolux. An engineer came out and couldn't find anything and as a last resort they asked her to send in a few items of damaged clothing for inspection. They are saying its not the washing machine that is causing the damage but the buckle on a belt.

However the holes appear in different places and in new unworn tops so its definitely something happening in the washing machine. I have suggested she follows the manual step by step making sure that there are no zips/buckles/underwires in the machine, its not overloaded or set at too high a spin speed to rule out everything she is doing but its proving a battle with electrolux.

After speaking to CAB they have recommended writing a letter and including the credit card company in it. I was really just looking to see if anyone with a zanussi or this model of machine had had similar experiences recently as if it is an overall problem with the machine it may help to join forces
