Vanquis Balance Transfer

I just successfully applied for a Halifax CC which offers 0% on Balance transfers and purchases for 11 months, called up to transfer balance from a Vanquis card and was told it was not possible!

Surely this is illegal ?

Any help much appreciated.

Sorted, managed to call them up and spoke to a nice lady called Paula,she helped to get it through as a purchase,luckily for me purchases are at 0%.

i know ,but just try to hold of their manegers,if neseccery send them a letter,because they have poor customer servise(i belive),and they wont pass you easily to their managers, we have issue with vanquish card too(for 2 monthes now) ,and keep sending them profe of details(almost 4 times) just to unlock the card ,but still saying they dont have them, so just try to sort it as soon as possible ,othervise you make them happy by pay them interest for no reason,
