Purchased a phone for £370 with Next Day Delivery, comms was good with seller before purchase with PM answered within 2hrs. Payment was made 9th Aug via Paypal. Sent a mail informing seller of payment and asking them when they will post and for the tracking ref when posted.
Seller replied saying item would be posted next day 10th Aug and that they would mail me the tracking ref.
No Mail on 10th or 11th.
Aug 12th (today) Sent anther mail asking if parcel had been posted. No response.
Noticed that seller had a few more items for sale so got a friend to mail about one of these. Seller responded.
I sent another mail saying if the parcel had not been posted when is it likely to be posted. No response.
Got my friend to send a mail about the other item again... Seller responds.
Got a bad feeling about this, no reply to my email but replying to others.. Is it best to wait or start a dispute now as this item was supposed to be a gift for someone and I needed it by 20th..

If this was posted special delivery on the 10th it would not have been guaranteed for delivery on the 11th, and there is of course no post today.
Whilst it is a bit of a worry that seller isn't responding to you, I would wait At least until tomorrow before doing anything at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Good point about the posting.
But why reply to someone else and not a quick reply to me to say it's been posted (and i dont have the tracking ref at the moment) or something along those lines.
Like you said, reckon I'll wait until tomorrow afternoon before doing anything. Will post back tomorrow.0 -
I would start a dispute if it does not arrive tomorrow.0

You have to do the paypal one first, credit card companies will expect you to have exhausted your other lines of recovery first.
