Hi all , a nighbour was telling me about a representative who was selling or pushing the above product on our estate!
Any way, it works something like this. They fit the panels for free, then any power produced dureing the day you use, and any left is then taken by the grid in the evevning.
Has any Moneysavers had the panels fitted, and what are the catches please. + & - points. Thanks for any respnse, am sure this has been discussed before.

    Its called a rent-a-roof scheme, the company installs the kit for free, you save say £100 a year on your electricity bill and the company collects the FIT payments which are considerably more.

    Summary - You rent your roof to some company or other, therefore incurring a substantial liability against your property, for the benefit of a tiny saving on electricity per year.
