i started to reclaim my charges in dec 06, all was going fine, i offered and counter offered. took HSBC to the small claims and one day before the deadline ran out! a defence appeared on moneyclaim. i now have a form and another £100 bill for the court service. they owe me nearly £3000 but am panicking about the court process. i have 10 days to return the form and fee, can they win? will they settle , hopefully before the check clears? has anyone got this far and remained clean of shorts? advice please

They cant win, they will settle and the AQ fee of £100 is refundable as part of your costs. Below is a link to a post of one womans experience in court.
I hope you find it inspiring and your shorts remain clean
