in Credit cards
I have just recently realised that i have never been paid any cashback from my MBNA credit card. When i asked why they said that we don't pay anything under £10. I know its not a lot of money but i think that people should be made more aware that they will need to spend more than £2000 annually to qualify for any cashback. I've yet to read the small print to see if it is mentioned there because they certainly don't mention it in all the adverts.

It's not a key feature, so unlikely to be advertised. However, it would have been in both the pre-contract information (ie, but you signed the agreement) and in the terms and conditions of the card.
The same happens with Aqua - they don't advertise it, but it states quite clearly that the cash back is rounded down to the nearest £5, so a cashback amount of £99.99 earns you £95 cashback whilst £5 or less gets your nothing.0 -
My advice would be to open an Aqua Reward Card [3% Cashback] and ditch MBNA.
It works for me.
