Hi guys, just a quick query, I have a problem which I can't get my head around. I'm wondering if its unique to me.
I recently tried emailing someone who uses an AOL.co.uk email account using my gmx.co.uk account but the email never came through. I tried multiple times, they are not in spam, they are simply not coming through.
What is stranger is the same thing happens with my own AOL account, no email appears.
Both AOL email accounts are receiving other mail fine. And the other email accounts including yahoo etc successfully receive an identical email from the GMX account.
Any thoughts about what might be going on.

The obvious thing is an issue at AOL's end not liking emails from gmx addresses. It will be the gmx address, not the actual message. Had a quick google search, couldn't find anything obvious so gave upContact AOL as it's a clear issue that they have to address.

I have contacted them, the messages did come through eventually 5 hours after they were sent. I just don't understand why its just the AOL accounts, seems really weird. Luckily I don't really use AOL.
And yeah I did the same thing, figuring if there was some sort of issue a google search would turn something up but no luck, its a bit odd.
But you know that moment of panic, where you are like, if that message didn't go through what if some of those more important emails I sent never got received, haha.0 -

Yes I know what you mean. I recall an issue years ago where the company I was working for with their own domain email addresses never reached AOL addresses. Like yours, they just started appearing eventually although that took around a week then was ok from then on.0
