Santander Credit Card Interest

Hi,

I am very confused. Every month I pay off the balance of the previous month in full but every month I get charged interest. The interest is not a lot, its around £1.50 each time but it's every month so they are starting to add up now. I haven't used the card to withdraw money from an ATM or anything like that. Just regular purchases.

Does anyone have any explanation?

Thanks

Obvious question: are you paying in time for them to receive the money by the due date? (Check the statement to see if the previous payment was received on time.) I'm guessing that you are else you'd see late payment charges.

Next question: any "cash like" transactions? Buying travellers cheques/foreign exchange, gambling....
