1 Day to go before completion

Feeling really sick and nervous today, everytime the phone goes I jump
.
I have not heard from my solicitor to say that tomorrow is not going ahead and getting hold of them is a pain (the last I was told on friday is that we had not even exchanged but if there were any problems with completion then the solicitor would call me).
Does anyone know or had experience where there have been problems completing on the day? Is it unusual? Would it be safe for me to assume that if i have heard nothing by the close of buisness today that it is pretty much a dead cert?
Would appreciate any comments
Thanx

If I were you I'd take nothing as a dead cert. Especially with solicitors.
Give them a call to check, it wont hurt. If you can't get hold of your solicitor surely someone in the office can find out and call you back....

At this stage, I think the real worry comes in when the funds transfer takes place!!!

This can real keep you one edge all day, hoping no one has made a mistake wrongly entering a digit on the bank transfer form!!! :eek:0 -
I've been through the buying process six times and selling five times - I've never once had a problem - apart from once when the solicitor went on a long lunch which meant that I didn't complete until 3pm when he returned  it cost me overtime payments to the removals company, I wasn't impressed. Anyway, that was the solicitor holding it up, it wasn't really an unforeseen problem that meant completion didn't happen that day.
Obviously until you get the phone call from your solicitor (to confirm completion has taken place) or estate agent (to say keys have been released), then it's always a worry.
Try not to worry too much though, try not to think about it
Good luck with your move
