Hotpoint FF200TP - ever fresh

Hi,
does anyone has the Hotpoint FF200T fridge freezer? I am having trouble to get 'Ever fresh' system to work. It worked once with the second box and since then I can't get it working. I am making sure the box is closed properly, the knob is rotated to 'Vacuum', but it just makes the sound and in the end beeps alarm that the function failed.
Has anyone got ideas how to get it working?
