LHA Query re under 35s

I'm grateful for your website info, as it helped me to understand housing benefit (LHA) changes and correct my local authority, who have now confirmed that my neighbour is entitled to 9 months' transitional protection. The same is due to expire in Sep 2012.
My question is will his LHA entitlement revert to the 1 bedroom rate when he become 35, 4 months after that?

Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.

Yes it should do, and i would have thought that it would be done automatically. But there is no harm in him contacting them again around his birthday to make sure it has been done.0
