BARCLAYS Basic Bank Account - Trying to pay friend online, wont work

Hello All:D

Thanks again for helping me out with the info of getting mopney transferred from Lyods TSB to my Barclays Basic Bank Account.

Im now trying to pay money from MY account to the same TSB account which paid money the other day.

When I try it says it cant find the name from my "pre appproved payee list"

The help on barclays seems quite vague.:mad:

What Do I do so i can make this simple payment to my mother? i lost my card and need cash, shes not giving me diddly squat until this goes through:eek:

    Guessing that the comment "you'll need to order a PINsentry device to pay individuals not on the list" is probably relevant to what you want to do.

    Yes this is exactly what I done and It worked, Thanks

    Have to upgrade to "PinSentry" to get online payments to work.

    If you don't have a PIN Sentry, you can also use a card reader from Nationwide, Co-op, and others which use a similar system. The "Pin Sentry" isn't any different - it generates the same codes.

    BTW James :), you scribbled out the payee name on your second image but not the first.
