If it's an HSBC basic bank account then withdrawals can only be made by ATM or via a Post Office.0

its a teens my money account ive checked the t +c online and nowhere does it mention you can ONLY use ATM's to get your money out, the only reference is a £100 daily limit. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

.....................20.5 For withdrawals over the counter at branches, you must provide an item of identification acceptable to us, and the cheque book or withdrawal book for the account (if you have been issued with one). You cannot use your card alone to make withdrawals over our counters.

HSBC seem to require a chequebook (!!) or more ID for over the counter withdrawals no matter how small / if children are involved.
Perhaps if she wanted to launder large amounts of US Dollar notes, they might be more accommodating.
Says it all really about HSBC...YorkshireBoy wrote: ».....................This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
