Does working for 2 companies notify either of yhe employers?

Hi,
Just wanted to ask this. I am presently working full-time for a company. But presently cannot manage with the current income. So I am planning to join another company on full-time basis. But it is written on primary and 2nd employer s contact that u cannot do so and will breach the contact.
The question here is
1. Will my primary or the 2nd employer come to know on their own about this even if its not disclosed to either of them?
2. Does my 2nd income show up anywhere like Form 16 or PF or anythong else? Both pay by PAYE.

How can you do 2 full time jobs?
I think your tax code will be different for your second job.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -
I'm not sure about your original question, but you will pay a hell of a lot more tax on a 2nd job.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £10,153.440

If your first company finds out that you are working a second job, you will be in breach of contract and they hav the right to terminate your contract.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

As could the second, and then you would have to manage on no income!
OP, you are playing with fire deliberately breaching this condition (to say nothing of what working two full-time jobs could do to your health) - there are a myriad of ways that this could come out, from someone noticing your tax code is "wrong" right the way across the spectrum to the casual accident of someone mentioning it to the wrong person.0 -
I came across an incidence of this a few years ago.
A sales rep for a premium brand of chemicals also worked for another company in the same line of business that sold similar but cheaper and inferior products.
If he could not get a customer to buy the dearer line then he sold the cheaper one instead. He had two company cars, using each one on alternate days.
It came to light purely by accident. He had an unusual surname and a manager from one of the companies called at a customer's premises and spotted his visiting card from the rival company. Thinking it strange that two sales reps in the same industry had the same name, he investigated further.
The unfortunate miscreant was called into one of the head offices where he was embarrassingly confronted by a director from both companies and lost both of his jobs on the spot.0 -

And deserved to - it hadn't occurred to me that someone could do both jobs at the same time! I had assumed two full time jobs at the same time meant double the amount of work! Clearly, I have never lived!0 -
How do you intend to get the second job without telling them where you are currently working when they ask for a reference?
On the plus side, you do win the prize for the least appropriate user name of the day!0 -
In addition to the worry about being caught out and losing both jobs, when you start the second job you'll have to fill out a P46 so they can sort your tax out. If you don't declare that it's a second job on that form (in order to hide your first job) then the correct tax won't be taken out of your pay...when HMRC put 2 and 2 together you'll end up with a huge tax bill and possibly being looked at for evading tax.
Really not a good idea. Why don't you ask your current employer if they'll allow you to take on another job? (they may agree subject to conditions like not working in the same field or for a rival company etc).Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
