Why oh why confirm an order and then half an hour later cancel the order.
I am cross with John Lewis who advertise order before 7.00pm for collection in store next day.
The cancellation email said that the information given did not pass their security checks???? and to ring if I wanted any further information. This I did only to be told that they had no information as to why!!(I had no problem with the order I placed earlier in the week)
They offered to put it through again but it was now past the 7.00pm deadline so would not be delivered tomorrow.
It just makes me think that they did not want to have to deliver it tomorrow,if so do not offer a service that you cannot fulfill!!!!!

I suspect the warehouse procedure is pretty much automated for the website, so unless the machines decided to go on strike, I don't think it'll make much difference to them if they delivered tomorrow or the next day. The vans would be going to the collection place that day anyway for other people, so one extra box isnt going to make much difference.0
