Returning items for refund?

I bought 2 items from a seller, separate purchases but paid for together with small postage discount. Items arrived but turned out to be not as described. After getting nowhere with the seller I opened cases for them and now the seller is offering refunds on return.
My questions are:
It states I will get original payment & postage but no mention of return postage costs does that mean I lose out?
2. Do I send bak individually or can they be returned in one package as received. Weed if I send as one I only have one pod and seller being an !!!! will say he only received one item?
Any advise?

What do you mean by 'pod'? It's not clear.
Return costs are a bit difficult - eBay occasionally give out printable, prepaid returns labels but no pattern to their whim has ever been divined. Other than that it's a double whammy - you need proof of delivery, i.e. at least recorded, but you don't get this increased expense back.
Not sure what the thing to do with combined items is - but are both items duds or just one of them?"Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Think POD is proof of delivery, but i could be wrong, as they mention only having one if both items are sent together.0

Pod - proof of delivery.
Yes both items. They were bras but even tho measurements on label & sale states 34 they are actually 32. My guess is they are shop seconds.0 -
I'm guessing as I've never been in this situation before, but I suspect proof of delivery would count for both cases, particularly since they were also paid for together."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
