Hi everyone, this is my first post. Anyone use Freecall.com to make international calls? You pay a small credit, say Euros 5-10.00, then make certain international calls for free. Freecall do not take any money unless you exceed the amount of free minutes per week (300). Your calls are made on regular landlines connected through the internet. Sounds too good to be true. I've used Skype extensively, but at times of poor internet connection the sound quality is not good.

Welcome.
Their are lots of these Betamax companies around see http://backsla.sh/betamax

I've been using the betamax companies for over 18 months now, no problems, very happy with the service.
I don't use the software I have a SIP ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter) so can make and receive calls (I have in incoming number for free) without the need of a PC to be switched on. In fact the service has been so good as we have cable broadband we dumped the landline. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

Which Betamax service do you use, BexTech? Did your incoming number come from them?
