Flower identification please

Can anyone tell me what this flower is please. I've got pink, blue and purple, they are growing upto aprox 2ft. I planted from seed under the impression they were Astors, but don't look like any Astor I've seen.

Any help appreciated and please ignore the weeds:o

Thank's for the relpies, don't think they are stocks, they have no scent, and I have some Stock in another part of the garden, and don't think they belong to Valli's group either.

The flowers are about an inch across very similar to Nigella flowers, grouped together into a sort of spear.

What are the leaves like ...it might be easier to tell what they are that way ( the one in the photo looks a bit like a delphinium to me and they're not necessarily tall )

Is that its stem with leaves next to it? If so it looks like nigella leaf

The blue flower is likely to be a Delphinium, I assume there is a rosette of leaves at the base.

I'd say delphinium too .. Have got lots in my garden :)
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Thank you they do look like the pictures posted, although mine are gangly looking specimens. I'll move them together when they've finished flowering and maybe they will look better bunched together.

Thanks again for the help

Don't put them too close, a mature plant can be 2ft across or more at the base.
