By entering into Age UK’s Home and Care competition, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. The promoter is, Age UK Trading Limited (company number 1102972) (AUKTL)
2. The prize draw runs from 6th August 2012 to 11.59pm on 30th September 2012. Entries received after this time and date won’t be entered into the prize draw.
3. The prize draw is open to all residents of mainland England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 or over (excluding Age UK Group employees or relatives or members of the same household of any such employees). Only one competition entry per participant is allowed. Age UK reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
4. Entries should be submitted by visiting the website at www.ageuk.org.uk/livingyourway/prizedraw or writing direct to: Living Your Way, 6th Floor, 1-6 Tavistock House, London WC1H 9NA
5. Entry to the competition is free. No purchase is necessary to enter.
6. There are 3 prizes to be won consisting of an Age UK Riser Recliner chair, an Age UK Stairlift, (both provided by Handicare Limited (Company No 041081720)) and an Age UK Adjustable Bed (provided by Willowbrook Limited (Company No 3797474)). Entrants must specify which they would prefer. Each winner will also win one of Morphy Richards 6-in-1 Can Opener, Morphy Richards Daily Loaf Breadmaker or Morphy Richards 4.5 Litre Slow Cooker. If for reasons outside our reasonable control, any prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer a prize of equivalent value. There is no cash alternative and prizes are not transferable. Photographs are for illustration purposes only and there may be differences between photographs in AUKTL’s marketing material and actual prizes.
7. The winners of the prize draw will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The draw will take place on 4 October 2012 (the “Draw Date”). The winner will be notified within a reasonable time after the Draw Date. AUKTL’s decision is final.
8. Prizes are awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if any prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at AUKTL’s discretion.
9. AUKTL will not be responsible for any inability of a prize winner to take up the specified prize. Stairlifts can be installed in most homes but award of the Age UK Stairlift is subject to satisfactory survey results. In the event that survey results are unsatisfactory, AUKTL may offer an alternative prize.
10. AUKTL gives no guarantee or warranty regarding any prize and shall have no liability whatsoever arising out of any loss or damage arising out of any winner’s or other party’s enjoyment of any such prize except for death or personal injury arising from our negligence.
11. By entering the prize draw entrants agree to participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by or on behalf of us including photographs. Entrants' data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the prize draw. Any personal data relating to the entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to third parties without the individual’s prior consent.
12. AUKTL accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries, or any other documents. Entrants are responsible for providing and (where necessary) updating AUKTL with their up to date contact details and AUKTL will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any participants due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details provided.
13. AUKTL reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend prize draw and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time by giving notice to you. You may withdraw your entry at such time but by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
