 I wish you were my husband!!

Anyway, GUARANTEED to get in my good books would be a purchase from any of the following:

    MAC
    Bobbi Brown
    Dior
    Chanel
    Yves Saint Laurent
    Clarins

You will need to look at what she usually wears, or if you have no clue, at least tell us what colour hair/skin/eyes she has.

You can't go wrong with a mid pink lipstick, a bronzer, a pressed powder, a neutral/taupe eyeshadow and a mid pink blusher. Black mascara/eyeliner will suit most unless she's very blonde.

    Hope that helps!

  • I have had a look at the options you guys have given and i was sneaky and left that lily lolo site open on my laptop for her to find....and she seemed to love it. I have looked through her make up box and actually, I think I am going for the make up brushes. Hopefully she will love it, they seem nice so fingers crossed! (incase you are interested http://www.lilylolo.co.uk/sp+Collections-7-Piece-Luxury-Brush-Collection+510 that is what I went for) Thanks for all your help, the response from this forum never ceases to amaze me.

    Thanks x

    Hi Dan
I use mac and it's awesome but make up is a very personal thing. If I was buying a gift I would go with eye shadow and brushes. Have a look in her make up bag and see what cols she already has. Do not buy foundation for her whatever you do!
  • If you really want to spoil her, book her in for a free make-up trial at any of the brands in a big Debenhams or House of Fraser (I love Bare Essentials, but it's really personal) and then give her vouchers to spend on the products that suit her skin and tones. Being shown how products work on your skin is essential to loving that product.

Good luck with whatever you pick.

IF you want to spoil her, go for some MAC makeup brushes. They are expensive but with last forever! Worth every penny plus you dont have to worry about getting the right colours.

I believe you can use debenhams through quidco and thats the only trusted online site i would use (lots of fakes) bar going to a department store.

Going with advice above, go for what shes got already, or take her to get a makeover at beauty counter and if she likes, buy her that! :D

    Good luck!

Just tell her how beautiful she looks without makeup and then treat yourself to something nice :)
