Make-up for the missus!?

Hey guys, I want to treat the missus to some new make-up, I am currently trawling the internet, but thought I would ask and see if anyoen has any good sites (preferably on TCB or quidco) that I could use?

I will report on my findings also!

Thanks

I don't use quidco (not very MSE of me!) so can't advise about that, sorry

If your trying to impress her the above won't do it (just IMO)
  • Would maybe be an idea to know what brand of stuff she uses, and colours where applicable, before you go ordering... (just imo too!!)

  • thanks I found a online make up retailer called lily lolo.....ever heard of them? theyre one quidco too with a decent cashback rate.what you guys think, I am not too worried about price as I'll get 8% cashback using them...let me know your thoughts http://www.lilylolo.co.uk

Make up can be a personal choice type of thing....and in honesty if my husband just went out and bought me a lipstick or whatever and it wasn't what I normally use or in the shade I like, then sadly he would have wasted his money...and the fact that he got 8% cashback via quidco on a purchase I wouldnt use wouldnt matter!!!!

If you want to buy her some new things have a look at what shes already using....if you want to treat her to something different...then take her shopping with you....

It's not a brand I know of. Tbh if it was my DH I woud be impressed if he looked in my makeup bag and bought all the bits that need replacing. It's thoughtful and means you won't get the wrong stuff!

I agree with okydoky - have a look at what she uses already and find out the brand she likes!
  • Buy her the Urban Decay NAKED palette (eyeshadow), most women love it. I personally think it is the best palette I have ever owned. The set also comes with an eyeshadow primer. I have oily eyelids and my eyeshadow always crease, I find that with the primer on, the eyeshadow stays on longer and doesnt crease at all. I am not sure you get what I am talking about but I am sure women do. Just get her the Urban Decay Naked palette and I am sure she will swoon
