I wasn't aware we had to pass GCSE English to post on here.
That's OK, but please stop posting until you can send Soolin a copy of your GCSE certificate (grade C or above).

I actually got a 'B' in GCSE English but sadly you'll find certain forum members feel the need to jump onto typos rather than make valid points on the thread.

Have you advertised to see if anyone has found your missing sense of humour?

I'll only start picking on people's typing and spelling when I know mine is impeccable. Some might find it kinder and less abrasive to do likewise...

Seeing as we're comparing notes, I have an A at GCSE and B at A-level.

It's generally OK to mention them when there is an element of humour involved.

Complaining something is shoddy with a typo left in the complaint is vaguely amusing.

The funniest response I got was when, many years ago, I was talking about a 103 key keyboard, a typo crept in and I refered to it as an 'keyoard'.

Someone posted remarking that as they had gone to the trouble to make 103 key version you'd think they could have managed to find room for a 'b'.

Fay, it was just a joke. Not the best joke in the world, but still a joke.

I don’t think Powertron took offence. Hopefully he or she smiled at it. If not I apologise but no offence was intended. :)

I can appreciate a joke, but I'll admit I'd probably get a bit steamed if the second reply to my question was poking fun ;)

Now if OP had said 'The standards of spelling in listings is getting ore and more shoddy'... THAT would have been funny :)
