Call a few of the main carriers to ask what they charge? Different deals are available and not from every carrier - so doing the groundwork yourself is necessary.

Cheapest is £60 with Post Office, no contract tie in period and thus can easily be moved to a better deal anytime.

    £13.25 a month.

I installed a new line Post Office FREE on a promo for a family member then they went to Sky after waiting a few months for the best deal to pop up - Sky line rental, off peak calls & Broadband £12.25 a month for 6 months, £22.25 in months 7-12.

    £101 cashback & £25 M&S voucher

Post Office for no tie in. £60 install.

Sky for cheap unlimited broadband upto 20MB £39 install.

tell us who is avail at your exchange

Talk Talk are free install usually (refunded to bill) but have diabolical customer care, forums & executive office staff (who lie like thier 3rd party sub contactors for customer care)

BT have a £40 install offer (online only) but its a 18 month contract thus any saving will be wiped out.

£39 with Sky Broadband 12 months contract or £60 Post Office with no tie in period.
