There was an ASA ruling against Paidoffers.co.uk earlier this year...

  • had an email to join it did sound to good to be true but like some of you I was hooked and joined
I did 3 offers and a impressive £145 but it said I would have to complete all 26 offers before pay and that would mean spending all day on the comp plus maybe personel info given.
So I wondered is this site ok or a scam which brought me to this forum and what I read thankyou I immediatly closed my account but some info they have got just wish I read some of your comments first and avoided this site plus it was mentioned by the scam site it was a high risk site so please
    avoid it

 do not bother wasting your time with paidoffer.co.uk .. i found this site on working mums wbe site whilst looking for part time job , i thought ideally can do this while my son asleep.. did all 26 offers i have had 11 validated at cost of £545 i thought great this isn't a scam, that was 3 months ago still no money, plus when i've tried contacting them i've had no response back .... the same is happening with offersforcash.co.uk they have 10 offers which i completed but again no money plus the offers i've done that have been validated diappear and then theres offers there that you can't do cos u've already done them ... complete waste of time and effort.. plus both company have the same postal address !!!!

well i've written another letter hoping for a repsonse !! but doubtful
  • I have been using paidoffers.co.uk for a number of months, and, as is the case with so many others, I have not seen a penny (despite their £300 Per Month Boast on Signup, not to mention the random names of people who have made small fortunes listed on the home screen board... sounds to good to be true... doesn't it?)

I am so glad that I found this website, as I think I can help.

I am pretty good at researching Websites, seperating the good legitimate internet people, and the nasty scammers that need to be in custody.

I have looked deep into paid offers and have discovered some interesting information.

    1) They are actually a real business with a real office (I was as suprised as you are what with them no appearing to exist as far as HMRC are concerned)
    2) They have a Telephone Number!
I had someone call them on my behalf, I got a name, and will be calling them tonight to find out just what is happening with all us peeps that aren't getting paid. I will update you all when I know more.

    Lets get our Money!

You are good at researching websites?
You are good at sifting good websites from bad?
But you have been using paidoffers.co.uk for months?

You were promised £300 every month?
You have received nothing each month?
But you have only just realised it is a con?

I am just not sure how you can help us!
  • haha I just got this reply off them...what a joke

    Hi

So we can ask the retailers to look into why they have not yet validated your offers then please provide the following information:

Offer 4 - Santander account number
Offer 8 - Home Insurance policy number and start date
Offer 9 - Wonga loan details
Offer 14 - Life Insurance policy number and start date
Offer 18 - LloydsTSB account number
Offer 21 - TalkTalk Broadband account number
Offer 25 - Argos account number

the funny thing is I wudent give them any account nos if I had accounts with em..but Wonga come on I am not that desperate! I have 8 validated and I never completed any of offers just clicked on site and off, as if you would go to these sites an part with you money...just a waste of your time don't bother...
