Help flush radiator pipes

Hi

I have a radiator inlet pipe into living rooom that is cold at one side and hot on the other, so must be some sort of blockeage. I have a small header tank in the loft bought some cleaner/restorer to flush system.

I have a radiator in conservatory which is closest to the boiler. I have in the living room either side of radiator a tap end and oulet. I don't know which is lowest radiator as i have a radiator in lobby and kitchen all have these at bottom.

The question is about draining the system do i release water from these outlet valves or and how do you do it and which one to drain. ?

Advice greatly appreciated ,Thanks.

    Before you do anything.

Try turning off all the radiators bar the one you have problems with and run the central heating to see what happens.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    Hi

I have tried turning all the radiators accept that one and gently tapping the pipe, but this has not worked.

Are you sure that both valves on the radiator that is not working are fully open?

    Hi

valves are open. The incoming pipe is hot then suddenly goes warm possibly some sludge ?
  • Are they normal valves or is one a TRV valve?

    TRV valves often stick shut.
