PPI companies that do the leg work for you

                    Hi all,
A long time ago, I looked into PPI and I'm about 99% sure I'm not due anything. I'm quite financially disciplined, pay off cards full balance each month, don't sign up to the insurance stuff they offer, etc.
What I'm thinking though, is to use one of these PPI websites to see if I did in fact miss out on something I had in the past and am due something. I wouldn't bother trying to look this all up myself for that 1% chance I am due something, so I'll get a company to do it for me. I look at it as though I've got nothing to lose by doing it, and is something I wouldn't do myself.
My question is, has anyone used these and:
a) Whether they are actually any good and
b) The one that takes the lowest cut of your amount, should that 1% chance actually pay off and I were to get lucky.

Non of the firms do anything other than fill in the simple forms for you. You have to tell them who you have paid ppi to. They can't look into your financial history for you0

The only "leg work" they will do for you is the walk to the post box to send it off.0

Ahh, that's a shame, though I was being cheeky with my plan

Thanks anyway!0
