we have a travelodge booked for the 12th and 13th of august, we were supposed to travel down from yorkshire in the car for a visit to essex, but because of car problems we were going to cancel the trip, i have checked mega bus and we can get a train to st pancras, as it is the closing ceremony for the olympics on the 12th, i thought it would be nice to go to hyde park for that, and then spend the day sight seeing on the monday, my question is , as i dont know the area at all and will be travelling alone with my teenage daughter, what would be the best way to travel from london to the hotel which is very close to stone crossing station. Any advice would be very much appreciated, it would be a shame to right off the trip completly.

You cannot go to Hyde Park on Sunday 12th August unless you have a ticket. I believe these are now all sold out.0
