Text from 07786 209245 parcel being delivered - is it a scam?

I had a text this morning saying my parcel is due for delivery today and to change the delivery day press 1 for 13th Aug, 2 for 14th Aug and 3 for 15th Aug.
I am not expecting anything - is this a scam does anyone know?

Ive had lots of texts in the past from mobile numbers saying your parcel will be delivered today, to change day text 1,2 etc they have all been genuine but i knew about them as it was ordered products, if you have given out your mobile number for comps then it could well be a win.. hope its something nice if it is

Sorry to be the pessimist but if you text them back it may well be a premium number. I googled the number and it doesn`t look good!

I've googled it and can't see any reports of problems with it? Normally with this kind of thing there are long lists of people reporting problems.

You can just keep the delivery date for today so you don't have to text back. Hopefully something nice will turn up! :j

I'v had several deliveries like this (all orders not wins unfortunately) one of the big delivery companies do it, I just cant remember which one now!

Thanks all - will wait and see if there;s anything when i get home as at work all day - some couriers will leave the parcel due to where I live - but not expecting anything so fingers crossed
