Anyone used Vietnam Airlines?

Hi All,
We booked a bargain flight with Vietnam Airlines and am just wondering if anyone has any experience of using them, and if so what we can expect from the flight.

Vietnam airlines are a fairly standard airline really, nothing super speial but nothing to dislike on the flights I've had with them.

I used them once for a four-flight in the Far East, and they were actually better than Cathay Pacific in terms of service, food and drink, comfort and general atmosphere (although in-flight entertainment was somewhat lacking). So I think that you will have a pleasant surprise.

Yeah we used them about 3 or 4 times in Vietnam. I thought they were really good considering the very low prices.

It was like Easy Jet price, but you got free drinks etc on board. So BA at a 10th of the price!

Fab thanks everyone - considering the low prices did not have much expectations which was fine at time of booking but as hols get closer I was starting to wonder if it was worth saving the money, but feeling reassured now.

Apparently they have dramatically improved their in-flight entertainment. This story in the Daily Mail give you some idea of the treats that you can expect.

I wish I could be on that flight!
