Car Leases
I am in the process of learning to drive.
Looking at my possible mileage etc, it's been suggested that leasing a car could be a better option than buying one at the moment. Initially I wanted to lease for a few months, but it appears that I'll be able to claim back lease costs for two years.
Anyway, I wondered if there was an average price/best place to look etc?
Also, will me only just having passed my test matter? Peugeot require two years NCD to offer free insurance - could I just insure myself?
I'm a bit out of my depth here, so any views are appreciated!
At the moment, I'm looking at Citroen DS3s, if its relevant.

My advice to any new driver is to buy a heap of junk for the first year! You are a lot more likely to damage the thing... I crashed in my first month; luckily I had a '95 Nissan Micra... replaced the whole front myself for £500

If you've not crashed after a year, you've earned the right to buy a DS3 (nice car btw!)0 -
What he said.
You'll get charged for every litle dink when returning a leased car.0
