I also applied for this job a few years ago and did the same test. I was also rejected due to my answers, I couldn't believe it. I remember some answers I wasn't sure of, it was a toss up between doing something to the book or putting the customer before the rules. Like said above a lot of questions had more than one good answer.0

I think with Sainsbury that out of the 4 possible answers 1 of them is obviously wrong, 1 is less obviously wrong but relatively easy to spot. The remaining 2, 1 is correct Sainsbury policy and the other is treated as a sensible answer, I don't think you get marked down if you pick either one of the 2 'right' answers.0
