Spring bulbs
Bulbs are in the shops already! I have bought some Iris Reticulata today plus some beautiful dark blue autumn flowering crocus.
Looking forward to seeing some of the specie daffs/tulips coming in. I have bulbs coming from Holland following a visit to Keukenhof earlier this year.
Seems bizarre I am planning for next spring already but feel quite excited at the prospect of planning my spring show of flowers.

Hi Suisi, I do both. Bulbs planted in borders are left and foliage tidied up once died back. Bulbs in planters/pots left to partially die back then lifted and then planted into odd areas in garden where there are no bulbs to continue dying back. I generally buy new bulbs each autumn for the pots/planters.0
