Madrid - This Weekend?

Hi

I wondered if anyone knew of any good deals to Madrid this weekend?

Flying out Sunday would be ideal, but we could also fly out any day next week.

It's very last-minute - a friend of ours from the other side of the world will be there for a while and we'd love to surprise him. We are in the middle of moving house though, so cost is a big problem!

Ideally we'd like to fly from Birmingham, but Gatwick is an option. Just a week is fine, and a terrace would be ideal.

I've never been to Madrid so I have no idea where abouts...we will meet in the centre somewhere, I imagine

I can see flights on BA from London next week for £77per person single.

If you have Avios, return flights are available with BA for 15000 avios and £27 per person.

For hotels etc you could try laterooms.com or trawl the hotel bookings sites. I'm sure there will be deals to be had.

Madrilenos don't want to be in Madrid in August because of the heat . They make a beeline to the coast or the mountains
