in Credit cards
Hi,
I currently have Co-Op Visa with a balance of £2k.
I want to apply for another credit card and want to balance transfer the 2k over to the new card.
Now I will also be applying for a Mortgage in next 3 months. Do think the new CC application effect my mortgage application?
I do not have any arrears etc, up to date with all my payments and have not applied for any credit for the last 8 months.
Thanks
SM

Mortgage companies are mainly concerned about things like deposits and your ability to pay the mortgage (i.e your income and your debt commitments).
So simply transferring a debt from one card to another wont make any difference.0
